Hari yang sangat hectic for mom!
Meeting abes lambat la pulak. So smpai rumah around 6.40pm gitu
Apa lagiii....silat-menyilat ler kat dapoq!
Alhamdulillah ada assistant2 setia, my 2 daughters!

Our menu for 9th Ramadhan,Tuesday:
Nasi putih
Kari ikan tenggiri + bendi + aubergine (Indian style, resipi ada di bawah ye!)
Opor sotong > mom gantikan dgn stirfry squid as per requested by kids
Ulam & sambal > mom gantikan dgn strify bean sprout+chives
- popia goreng & pencicah

Ikan masak kari

Ingredients :~
4 blocks of Threadfin (Senangin) >  mom tukarkn kpd ikan tenggiri
1/2 tsp mixed spice seeds (mustard seeds, cumin seeds & fenugreek seeds)
4 garlic cloves ~ chopped
1/2 inch ginger ~ chopped
1 onion ~ sliced
2 green chillis ~ sliced
1 stalk lemongrass ~ slightly bruised (optional)
1 sprig curry leaves
4 ladies' fingers ~ chop off both edges
3 cups of water
2 tbsps fish curry powder
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 large tomato ~ cubed
2/3 tsp tamarind paste
1/2 cup coconut milk (optional) > mom omit this one
Aurbugine - cut into 4 > mom add this one
Oil
Method :~
Heat oil in wok. Saute mixed spice seeds. Add onion, green chillis, lemongrass and curry leaves. Stir until fragrant and add garlic & ginger. Stir for 2 minutes.
Add water, tamarind paste, fish curry powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and let it boil for 5 minutes.
Add coconut milk (if you're adding) and ladies' fingers. Let it boil again for 3 minutes.
Add tomatoes and add fish blocks. Cover the wok and cook under medium heat for another 5 minutes or until fish is cooked.
Stir gently once awhile. Check for salt and dish out.
