Bento version4:

Assalam & G'day,

Mom baru je baik pulih dari demam..Alhamdulillah sihat seperti sediakala.
Kena naikkan balik berat badan, dah hilang 2kg masa demam hari tu... :(

Koleksi bento mommy continues with nasi. At last!
Tapi bento gini hanya applicable sebulan or 2 bln skali sbb anak2 tak berapa minat makan nasi2an ni at skool.

So..here are among our bentos.

Bento version3: Special burger

Assalam & G'day

This bento is prepared if
1.mom malas nak buat chic/beef patty.
2.diversity of burger's taste.

Apa2 pun, ianya agak renyah tapi it's totally fun...almaklumlah, buat masa subuh2 tu kan...mmg happening :)



Hat ni serve for brekky...my darling, my Danish (afternoon skool) & my Khalish always pergi lambat sikit dari mom

Fillingnya...

The filling:
Telur ayam, secukupnya

Meat filling:
Mince chicken/beef (salah satu), secukupnya
Sedkikit serbuk cili
Lada hitam, tumbuk
Bwg besar, potong dadu
Karot, julienne cut, pendek2 (atau sayur2 lain)
Daun bwg & sup, hiris2 (optional)
Olive oil, secukupnya
Garam
Cara:
1. Tumis bwg dgn olive oil, until naik bau. Masukkan serbuk cili serta lada hitam, kacau2 skjp.
2. Masukkan minced meat, kacau2 hgga airnya kering.
3. Tambah sayur2an, jika mahu, kacau2 then perisakan dgn garam. Siap!
4. Pecahkan telur, pukul dgn garpu hgg berbuih2. Sediakn non-stick fry pan (yg rata permukaannya). 5. Panaskan olive oil sdikt, guna api sederhana.
6. Tuangkn telur secukupnya, lenggangkan agar ia mencecah ke bhg tepi kuali.
7. Letakkan  meat filling di tengah2, secukupnya, then ratakan sdikit. Bila telur dh mulai masak, lipat telur agar menutupi filling. Bila nk angkat, tekup piring pada telur, terbalikkan kuali. Siap.
Buat sampai abis (ikut bilangan burger yg dikehendaki).

Burger:
Lettuce
Tomato
Cheddar cheese
BBQ/chilie/tomato sauces
Mayonaisse

Assemble macam buat burger ler ye...

Bento version2: Homemade Tortilla

Good day...

This is another favourite bento for my kiddos. I make the tortilla wrap myself (please refer the bottom part, I put the recipe).
The filling???? It's up to your kiddos' liking, definitely...
Mine like grill chicken, lettuce, bbq/chile/tomato sauce, mayo, cheddar cheese...
Wrap it inside alum foil, cut into half, so that it's easy for them to eat...just like eating banana, the bottom part must be sealed (sort of) so that the juicy part of the filling won't spill...can you imagine it...?

chicken tortilla wrap, guava, grape and raisins


Homemade Tortilla

Bahan
3cwn tepung serbaguna (sebaiknya unbleached)
1cwn air panas
1sdt garam
1/2sdt baking powder
1/3cwn minyak canola

Cara:
1. Gaulkan tepung, garam & bkg pwder dgn whisk (atau jari shj).
2. Tmbh minyak canola, gaul rata guna jari, hgg jd mcm serbuk (crumbs).
3. Tmbh air panas, gaul rata hgga jadi doh lembut (mula2 dgn whisk then perlahan2 guna tgn).
4. Rehatkan dalam 30min.
5. Bahagikan kpd 12 (terpulang lah, ikut saiz yang diingini), canaikan satu doh atas permukaan yg disapu tepung...tebalnya dalam 0.3-0.4cm
6. Guna api kecil, goreng dalam kuali non-stick, tanpa minyak. Balikkan bila dh keperangan. Buat sampai habis.


Goreng doh atas kuali tanpa minyak. Bila dah mengelembung macam ni, balikkan.

Setelah dibalik....masak tak lama, dalam bbrp minit aje.

Tortilla yang dah diisi dgn filling, gulungkan. Sediakan alum foil, saiz muat untuk menggulung tortilla

Bento version1

Assalam...

Since almost setiap subuh2 tu mom snap photo of my five pearls' lunchboxes I believe it is quite interesting to share what I had been preparing for them with bloggers. Mom bertolak dari rumah ke office dalam jam 7am gitu, ada anak yang dah keluar 6.30am so mom kena siapkan bento2 ni by 6.30am!

Dan, FYI, mom juga bawak bento ke office, jarang sangat makan di office sbb mostly makanannya not to my liking...

Surely some of netizens yang terdiri daripada busy working moms like me sharing similar interest i.e. sediakan lunchbox untuk anak2 ke skool instead of beri pocket money, kan?

So, mom tayang aje lah koleksi2 lepas yang dah jadi pekasam dalam tablet ni...sblm di-delete, why not sharing it here. Pic-nya pun tak dapat diedit apa2, straight from the tab!

Apple Galette

Assalam

As promised suatu masa dulu (hampir terrrrlupa dah ni), mommy nak kongsi resipi simpel ya amat tp rasenya sgt sedap! Namanya Galette.
Galette ni berasal dr French word, means crusty cake. Zaman2 raja2 French dulu, depa panggil ni like big pancake, boleh dgn cara savoury or fruitty.
Maknanya, toppings boleh letak cheese + salami / chicken / etc (savoury) or letak fruit like apple / strawberry / etc.
Atau pun, nk letak veggy pun ok.

Hat yg mom buat ni, simply apple!

Jom,.......meng-galatte!



Apple Galette

Bahan2:
1 large puff pastry, thaw
1-2 biji epal, buang kulit & cut in thin slices (mom potong tebal2 sbb nk cepat masa Ramadhan ni)
Butter, cairkan, secukupnya
serbuk kulit kayu manis, secukupnya
gula perang, secukupnya

Cara:
1. Panaskn oven 200C / 180C (fan-forced).
Potong puff pastri (yg square tu) supaya jadi bulat (means buang corner2nye tu...agak2 aje asalkn bulat).
2. Lipat ke dalam ke semua hujung (macam ala2 nk kelimkn). Then sapukan semua permukaan atas dgn butter (sapu byk sikit ke bhg kelim tu supaya tak terbuka semasa dibakar nnt).
3. Susunkan epal ke sekeliling permukaan, dgn cara arah jam atau lawan jam.
4. Taburkan gula & kulit kayu manis secukupnya serta lebihan butter cair tadi, ke semua bahagian (kecuali atas bhg kelim td).
5. Bakar hgg keperangan. Siap!
