Bento Version24: Fried Rice & Apam Balik

Alhamdulillah for today's bento:

Fried rice
Apam balik --> resipinya di SINI 

Apam balik tu menu mengejut je. Malam tadi baru terfikir. Mulanya nk buat chicken wrap tapi nasi malam mcm banyak la plak sooo...cancel buat totilla.
Pagi tadi macam biasa lah, sblh dapur nasi goreng, sblh dapur apam balik..haaa...merempit mana yg patut eks :)

Fried rice...harap2 my kids makan tapi macam takkkkk je. depa sanggup berlapar dan bagi kat skool mates drpd makan sbb always promised to mom that, bila balik mom nk tgk bento boxes semua KOSONG hihihi...

Bento Version23: Fried Noodle and Mozza Toast

Simply simple lagi punya menu bento.
Alhamdulillah...

Our bento:
Fried noodle
Mozza Toast
Green grapes
For kids: DL strawberry flavour milk + water


Kids' bento

Fried noodle

Mozza toast + grapes

Mom's

Mozza Toast

Bahan:
Mozza cheese secukupnya
6-8 kpg roti
2bj telur (saiz AA)
2sdb fresh milk
sedikit garam

Cara:
1. Pecahkn telur dlm bekas lebar + milk + garam & kacau2 hgga foamy skit.
2. Panaskan non-stick frying pan, spray with cooking oil.
3. Amik satu kpg roti, letak mozza cheese atasnye, ratakan but NOT smpai tepi2 roti. Then, amik another one roti, celup satu permukaannya dgn telur tadi then terlangkupkan ke atas roti yg dah letak mozza tadi...jadi sandwich lah kirenye kan.
4. Dip kedua2 roti sandwich mozza tadi tu ke dalam telur, dip both permukaan ye. then toast kan ler sampai browning one side then flip kan, masakkn smpai browning gak pastu angkat.

If mkn panas2, superrrr bergetah2 la jadinye yummm....

Bento Version21: Turkey & Egg Burger

Our bento menu is simply:
Turkey & Egg Burger with dressings of sauces (mayo+tomato), lettuce, tomato & cheese.
-- turkey slice disalut dgn omelette

Utk mom, no sauces because mom lebih suka rasa ori turkey  + cheese, tak perlu dah sos2 nih. Tapi veggie kena banyak...mmm..yummm...

Each burger kena tag with names because ada different dressings & fillings...citarasa anak tekak tak sama xoxoxo

Bento Version 20: Chicken Totilla

Good Day. Alhamdulillah dalam huru-hara subuh tadi, cik totila mommy sempat gak disiapkan semua...Nak cerita gak kat sini sbb subuh tadi udah rasa macam stress test yg kt dalam my kitchen rule tuh iskkkkk...

Semalam meeting habis lewat so mom sampai umah dh malam gelap gulita. Around mid-night mom buat ler kulit totilla tu. Marinate chicken tenderloins.
Siap semua keje past midnight and slept around 1am, which I rarely had.
Subuh tadi, 4am spt biasa alarm disetkn tp mom mmg serius tak dengar. Tetiba je terrrrbangun at 4.20am gitu...huishhh...nasib!

Lepas terjaga terus on oven, letak ayam atas baking dish then roasted for about almost 1 hour...nk menunggu ayam masak pun lama, masa mmg sepantas kilat kalau nk pepagi buta ni kan...

Since I have so little time to spare, usually by 6.30am dah tayar bergolek tp dok kt dapoq lagi uwaaaa...Gagah gak  lah me-wrap selajuuuuu mungkin.
Akhirnya...Alhamdulillah, cik totilla wrap berjaya disiapkan untuk brekky & bento seisi keluarga...huh! What a day!

Bento Version19: Pepperoni pizza & Kuey teow goreng basah

Our brekky & bento for today are:

Pepperoni pizza with toppings of olive + mushroom + onions + mozza cheese + dried oregano
Kuey teow goreng basah with prawn + squid + Asian veggies


Yg tertutup malu2 to is kuey teow hihi






Apa2 pun, ni jugek yg paling tempting  :)

Bento18: Bagel Turkey Sandwich

Simple bagel with cheese leleh...ce wah hihihi

Today mom buat simpel aje, bila hari Isnin, mula lah lemau & rushinggggg  :(  :(  :(
Apa2 pun, Alhamdulilah...rezeki dari Allah jua, kan?

Our bento menu for 070915:
Homemade bagel with turkey with zuchini (tak nmpk la plak)
Guava / Grapes
Chocolate drink
Biscuits (cheese filling)


Camera trick la pulak hehe...bagels should be larger than the guava hmmm....

Cheesy Crochetta

Ni mom nak share-kan resipi crochetta, my version. Actually crochetta can be prepared in many ways, subject to your liking...ada tuna crochetta, sardine crochetta..macam2 lah. Nak letak serunding daging/ikan as filling pun, wokey!

Crochetta berasal dari Italy, so far that I know of. Bila org Melayu masakkan, biasalah kan, fusion terus jadinye hehe.

This one mom letak inti cheddar cheese & salut dengan crumbs dari corn flakes. Nak tau cara buatnya? Jom tengok resipi....




Cheesy Crochetta

Bhn:

1-2 biji ubi kentang besar
100g ayam cincang, gaul rata dengan sedikit garam+olive oil+blackpepper
Cheddar cheese secukupnya

Crumbs:
1-2cwn cornflakes
Mixed Italian herbs (optional, boleh letak herbs lain ikut kesukaan masing2; tak letak apa2 pun ok gak).
Secubit garam

1bj telur, kacau sedikit dgn garpu
1-2sdb tepung gandum+1/4sdt blackpepper+secubit garam

Cara:
Bebola: 
1. Masakkan kentang dalam microwave, hgg lembut. If nk buat cara biasa, rebus je lah. Mom suka guna microwave - c.e.p.a.t. Then mash kan guna garpu je, no need to be fully fine ya. Then add ayam cincang, gaul rata.
2. Guna plastic glove utk membentuk bebola. Scoop 1tbl spoon of potatoe mixture (saiz pun ikut nak besar mana ye), leperkn dan letak filling - cheddar cheese. Katup rapat2 dan bentukkn spt bebola, letak atas bekas beralas sedikit tepung. Buat sampai abes.

Crumbs: Letak cornflakes & bhn2 lain ke dlm plastik ziplock. Guna rolling pin utk roll kn flakes dlm ziplock. Tahap hancur tu terpulang, samada nak halus (lenyekkan lama sikit) atau kasar (lenyekkn sekejap aje).

Menggoreng:
1. Sediakn pan saiz medium, panaskn minyak (tak perlu byk sgt, mom tak deep fry pun).
Sediakan 3 bekas: 1 utk tepung, 1 untuk telur, 1 untuk crumbs.
2. Bila minyak dah panas, reduce heat to small. Dip satu bebola ke dalam (ikut susunan ini) : => tepung => telur => crumbs => telur => crumbs. Buat sampai habis.
3. Goreng one side smpai a bit browning, then turn to the other side sambil roll-kn the crochettas. Masaknya agak cpt once satu side dh masak kan so bila dh sampai giliran the other side tu, skjp je masaknya, tu yg sambil2 tu rollkn sikit2 so that it will cook evenly.

Dah siap goreng semua, blh dihidangkan. Nak makan begitu aje or dgn Thai dipping sauce pun ok, sedap!




Mixed Asian Veggies Fritters

Mixed Asian Veggies Fritters

Bhn:
1-2cwn tepung gandum
Ikan bilis, segenggam ditumbuk sedikit
1/2 ulas Bawang besar, hiris dadu
1bj cili merah, saiz kecil, ditumbuk halus
1/4sdt serbuk kunyit

Sayur2:
Kucai, potong pendek2 sikit
Taugeh
Daun bawang, hiris2
Daun sup, hiris2

Air secukupnya
Garam secukup rasa


Cara:
Dalam satu bekas, campur rata semua bahan. The batter tu ikut la nk thicken-up tahap level mana.
Sesetengah org suka tepung byk sikit so fritters-nya akan gempal skit la, ala2 cucur udang tu kan. Mom prefer rangup2 gitu so agak cair sikit ler batternya.

Once batter dah ready, panaskn minyak dlm pan, deep fry ye.
Scoop sesenduk kecil (or 1 table spoon) ke dalam minyak yg dah panas. Masak smpai browning, balikkan. Dh siap brown, angkat & letak atas plate yg dialas dgn kitchen tissue.
Buat lah sampai habis.

Makan panas2 begitu aje or boleh cicah dgn sweet sour sauce (aka Thai sauce)...Yummmmmmmm....!






I like this kind of texture...crunchy!

Bento Version15: Egg & Cheese Sandwich and Corn Fritters

Jom jamu mata tengok koleksi bento anak2 & mommy-nyer:
Egg & cheese sandwich
Spicy corn fritters
Apple
Air kosong & strawbery flavour drinks (dutch-lady) -- both not in pic



Corn fritters tu mom cut in half, senang anak nak makan


Ni mom nk share kan jap resipi corn fritters aka kuih jemput jagung.
Fav mom tp untuk anak2 -- so so jer tp paksa2 gak depa makan. Siap bgtau, fritters ni lah yang membesar kan mom dulu2 tau hehe. Masa kecik2 dulu, kami ada kebun, jagung adalah salah satu tanaman yg kami tanam..selain drpd tu ada pumpkin, nenas, kacang tanah, sayuran bagai...mostly kutip hasil je if nk makan, tak beli pun...


Corn Fritters

Bahan (agak2 je la ye):
1-2 tongkol jagung, lurutkan (dgn pisau) utk dapatkn isi jagungnye tu
Tepung gandum
Serbuk jintan manis
Serbuk jintan putih
Cili kisar
Sedikit bawang besar, potong dadu
Setangkai daun kari, hiris halus2
Garam & gula secukup rasa
Air secukupnya

Cara:
1. Gaul mesra semua bahan dalam satu bekas. Kepekatan macam adunan cekodok / kuih jemput2 tapi untuk kuih ni, better tepung kurang sikit -- means nampak jagung2 tu terserlah, bukannya ditutupi tepung sangat. Tp terpulang ler, if nk byk tepung, go ahead.
2. Goreng deep fry macam masak cekodok / kuih jemput2 tu.
3. Bila dah kekuningan, angkat dan letakkan atas kitchen tissue. Siap untuk dihidang!
